Our objective is to offer an enriched environment focused on social interactions through play. Some opportunities for learning include music, art, movement, writing, stories, manipulatives, cooperative games, and social integration activities. The Faculty is highly qualified and desires to nurture and enhance the unique talents and abilities of each child. Faculty will assist children in activities and behaviors that strengthen an understanding of Christ.

We encourage parental involvement and support for the program and for strengthening the parent/child relationship. We also welcome volunteers and community members to enhance the children’s understanding of community. Angel’s Nest strives to instill virtues of kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, joy, peace, love and self-control.

Toddler/2 years (18 -36 months)

• Provide a language rich program to develop both receptive and expressive language skills

• Promotes a high interest in books, stories, and songs to delight toddlers

• Daily whole group interactions to promote social skills

• Lots of nurturing, encouragement, and support to help promote confidence, self esteem, and a love of learning.

• Balance of nurturing, playtime and learning throughout the day

• A variety of daily activities and experiences are presented through our emergent curriculum

• Development of confidence, self-esteem and a love of learning

• Learning areas focused on dramatic play, creative arts, language and sensory exploration

• Regular communication between teachers and parents to keep you informed about your child’s day

Transitional-Kindergarten (4 - 5 years old)

• Daily small-group interaction promoting skill development

After Kinder Care (ages - until child enters 1st grade)

• Children are supervised and facilitated by qualified teachers in a nurturing environment

• Supervised art, crafts, and activities for school-age children are provided

• Indoor and outdoor playtime provided (weather permitting) 

• Naptime/rest time and healthy snacks provided 

• Regular communication between teachers and parents to keep you informed about your child’s day
