Roberta Woodall

Center Director

Hello, my name is Roberta Woodall and I am the Director of Angel’s Nest Child Development Center. I have over 20 years experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. Eleven of those years have been spent working as a director.

I received a two year nursing degree from Hartnell College in Salinas, California. Later I reentered school life and received an additional 60 units, 50 of which are in Early Childhood Education.

My thoughts on how children learn – I believe children learn through interaction with other children, adults and age appropriate activities. I believe children develop physically and cognitively through exciting and challenging play experiences. Mutual trust and respect between the teacher, the child and the other adults in a child’s life contribute to healthy social/emotional development. Continual communication between the parents and teachers provides the mutual support that brings about healthy development of the whole child.
